NCLEX test result

test results will be released approximately four weeks from your test date. if you pass, you will receive your license. if you fail, you will need to reapply for the test with ppt. ------------------------------>>> i've got this information from state board of nursing website. when is earliest time you can get a test result and how can you be sure if the result is official? if i check my license information at the state board of nursing website and it has my license number in it, can i use that information to actaully apply for a job? or do i have to get an official result via mail from state board of nursing in order to apply for a job?

You must have your actual license in order to apply for an RN position. I beleive that it would be the same for any state. But maybe you should check with your nursing board and see what they say. I wish you the very best of luck and hope you receive your results soon!!
