nclex test in a different state

hi everyone i was wondering if anyone could tell me what i need to get from my instructor or if i need to do anything special to take the nclex in another state??? i am graduating soon from lpn program in new york and i have to move back to my home state (okla) right after graduation...any input would be appreciated ty all

I tested out of state without any problems. I went out of state because I could test sooner than if I went to a testing site locally. I didn't have to do anything extra. If I remember right I was able to pick out my testing date and location online. I looked at the locations and picked the one that had the least wait to get in. I tested in Knoxville,TN. Good luck!

ty for your reply so all u had to do was send in the application to the board of nursing for that state?? no need for transcripts or anything??
