Nclex

I HAVE TAKEN MY NCLEX TWICE AND HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL :scrying:. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BEING SUCCESSFUL. I HAVE TAKEN KAPLAN 3 TIMES. I HAVE BOUGHT ALOT OF BOOKS/CDS. IT IS NOT THAT I DONT KNOW THE INFORMATION, I JUST CANT PASS MY BOARDS. I AM READY TO BE A NURSE, I WENT TO SCHOOL FOR IT AND I FEEL I DESERVE IT.

I took my twice and failed but passed on the 3rd attempt, I struggled as I trained in the UK and an experienced nurse which made answering the questions a bit harder for me. It was suggested to me to go to http://www.learningext.com, this website I found very useful. Also have you had a look at the nclex forum on here as I am sure others in a similar situation may offer more advice.

Have you just done the Kaplan questions, or have you read the Kaplan book that has the NCLEX taking strategies in it? I have the Kaplan book with the tips for narrowing down the answer choices- very good book. I lent it to a friend who had failed once, and she passed after reading the book. If you know the material, then you just may need to brush up on how to pick the best answer (Maslow first, then Nursing Process, then Safety).

At any rate, it sounds like it might help you out.
