good luck scooby! im new to this site so i may not be posting this in the right site so I apologize in advance if I am! I just took the NCLEX today and I am having a huge panic attack! I wasn't the strongest student in my undergrad nursing program and got like 60s on my practice tests I took before the nclex. Well....today when I started taking the test, aound question 20 I realized I hadn't known any of the answers yet and it just kept getting worse. I got to question 70 and I sware I didn't answer anything right. at question 75 it kept going and then cut off at 78. What was the point of those 3 questions? Was the computer like- yep those last three just proved she's not good enough or what?!?!?! Does anyone have a similar experience (hopefully a positive one!) I'm going outta my mind!!

heyy brookie...i JUST joined this site too and im taking my nclex aug 7 and i can relate to alotta things u said...i wasnt the brightest cookie in my class either and ive been getting 50-60% on my prac. tests as well...maaan i realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly hope u passed...ill be in the same boat as u 20days from now..eeeek.
hope u get the results u want!
thanks moe! i sure i hope i pass- itd be quite a pity that weve done all this work and this darn test, which didn't ask me any questions relevant to the field i am going to be working in anyways, could determine our career for now. uggh if i fail i dunno if i have the strength to go through this again!! walmart here i come! haha (hopefully just kidding, love walmart, but with all the bills in tuition, walmart salary ain't gonna cut it!)
i know what u mean i mean i was a honor roll student but when i first started srudying foe the nclex i wasn't doing that well bur now i am so i hope that we all pass and become the nurses that we worked so hard to be.

Question, do you feel like the questions were really hard?
If, so could be a good sign that you were at a higher level questions.
75 Questions- minus 15 testing questions =60 questions, now out of those 60 you must score more right than wrong, so there is a good chance that you pass even if you got 25 wrong? Is that right?

Good luck!! I took mine July 2nd, had all 265 questions and it took me 5 1/2 hours (what an awful experience). While taking the test, I was already making plans for re-taking the test (no joke - when my husband picked me up afterwards, I was asking him if he'd be able to take off work another day in August or September to take me to the testing center). 2 days later (on July 4th, no less) I found out I passed!! The extreme amount of relief I felt was unbelievable!!! Good luck again - keep us posted!
Thank you,and congratulations:smiley_aa:smiley_aahopefully i will be able to tell you guys that i passed.
