NCLEX suspense

OK, the suspense is killing me. I only just took the NCLEX this morning (2/23) and I'm dying...deep cleansing breaths...deep cleansing breaths...I vow not to repeatedly check for results...I vow to keep off the computer until tomorrow...deep cleansing breaths...deep cleansing breaths.:imbar

Its ok.. You have the right to freak like everyone else. I checked every day, even though I knew it would be at least 48hrs. But still, the computer was calling my name.

You will see the word PASS before you know it ;)

I kept checking also, thankfully the results were posted the next morning at 7:30 when I checked. When does your BON list your state's results? Keep positive!

I know exactly what you mean..even my Mom is checking the computer....lol

I can sympathize, but part of me wants to yell, "Get a grip!" I didn't get my results til the middle of Sept. There was no internet back then, you just took your test and waited til your results came in the mail.

You'll find out soon enough. Probably by tomorrow you will know your answer.

It cracks me up when I see this type of reply about how long people used to have to wait for NCLEX results. It reminds of my son. He wanted a TV dinner. I popped it into the microwave for 3 minutes. When he came back 2 1/2 minutes later, he balked because it wasn't ready and he was hungry now! I guess now I can totally relate cuz I wanna know now!

Hi VHope,

I am praying for you right now! I know this time is difficult and there really is nothing any of us can say to calm ya, but venting really does help. Do it as often as you need. In the meantime, do anything you can to distract yourself, easier said than done ofcourse.

It could be worse. I got my results on Friday the 13th . I'm not a superstitious person, but even I kinda paused at that.
