Hey all,

Graduating soon, curious any suggestions for NCLEX books, we got one in our books, but im thinking with the "updated change" to the Nclex, i want a variety of books. Has anyone found any good NCLEX books they like?

Thanks!

I am enrolled in pharmacology this summer at lone star for the ADN program. Is there anybody out there with sample test from their class or can help.

The Saunders Comprehensive Review is a good NCLEX review book that has helped out many people. Good luck to you!

Many people state they are successful using Saunders Comprehensive Review. Also suggest the Linda LaCharity book on prioritization and the Kaplan review book for test strategy. Those three are a good start.

I passed by test last week (75 questions).:) The Pearson Vue trick works! Sources used: LaCharity's Prioritization/Delegation/Assignment book, Kaplan's NCLEX-RN book/CD (checked out from local library), and 3-week subscription to NCSBN web site. I had to rush through the NCSBN site to get through it before my test date, so more time to review the content/questions would have been good. Good luck!

This is exactly what I did. Taking mh NCLEX in 2 hours. Hope it was enough! I think the LaCharity book is a MUST.

I took the NCLEX yesturday.. the sources I used was Saunders, Lacharity, and the I did the kaplan review. For me initial I felt like I needed more content so I attempted to review content with the saunders( for 2-3 days) and found that I begin to feel overwhelms it was just too much info :uhoh3: after a while I didnt even want to see a nursing book. A week later I started the kaplan review course and began to do the question trainer test. My score were 51-65 on the tests. Not that great I know but I reviewed the rationals and look up diseases, etc that I was unfamiliar with. I also did the questions from LaCharity each day for two weeks. I think that kaplans questions were very close to the NCLEX questions maybe a little harder. I ended up getting 210 questions some of the questions were very similar to Kaplan & La charity and some I had to just take a educated guess on. lots of SATA  not my favorite...I left the testing center not knowing where I stand. So I went home and tried the pvt and I got the good pop up.. still waiting for the official results... I will keep yall posted..

:dncgbby:Just found out I Passed:hpygrp:

just passed nclex 2 days ago with the minimum (75questions). i am selling all the books on eBay in one big lot ... great books, wouldn't change the way i studied at all! not sure if i am allowed to link to the auction here so if you go to eBay, just search NCLEX RN BUNDLE KAPLAN LIPPINCOTT & it should be the only one that comes up. check it out to see what i used or even place a bid ;)

GOOD LUCK!!!!! focus on prioritization/what's MOST important/safe.
