NCLEX RN from Spain

Hello,

I am a nurse and I did my studies in Spain. Currently I am living in NYS. Last February I started the validation process. Last August the CGFNS told me that they had sending all my papers to the Department of Education in NYS. I am still waiting for their answer. I do not know if my program from Spain will be enough for being validated in NYS and to be able to pass the NCLEX.. Is there anyone who knows how long it works the all process? When I studied in Spain, the academic degree was just for three years and I worked for 8 years. Do you think that three years instead of four can be a problem although I have a long experience?

Thank you!

Did you submit your application to the NY BON? they usually only take 1-2 months after CVS is issued to give report. May be worth trying to touch base with them

Hi and thank you for answer to me so fast!

In August I sent a Form 1 to New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions, as they said to me..Is it what you mean about NY BON?

We are calling every week, and avery time they say the same, that I have to wait two more weeks.. I am very sad and discouraged..
