NCLEX results from 2/8

Published

So I took my NCLEX Tuesday and then had to to work afterwards. I also had to work a 12 yesterday but didn't mind too much because I figured it would keep my mind occupied and keep me from worrying about whether or not I passed or failed. I looked on the BON's website in the morning before work and then again at lunch and didn't see anything, so I went about my day trying not to think about it  . The RN I was interning under kept telling me to keep looking, but I figured I probably would just have to wait until the next morning for them to post it, so why keep bothering?

Fast-foward three hours, I get caught up in a semi-emergent situation, the RN gets on the phone with the doctor for some orders (I am expecting him to give transfer orders to the unit) and when she gets off, I ask her to let me see them, so she shoves a paper at me. I am standing in the hallway and open it up and it is MY LICENSE!! :roll My CN and her had been looking for it on the internet waiting for it to come up for me because they new I wouldn't keep looking! lol. So of course I screamed (shock) and scared the bejeesus out of all the patients who could here me. Then I cried (happiness? lol) and had to go into the break room for like 15 minutes to compose myself. Then I made victory laps around the hospital to visit my other new grad friends and share the news. I got full rights and into the Pyxis right away and got to end my shift as an RN!!

Came home and killed a bottle of champagne with the hubby. Couldn't have done it all without him being as supportive as he has. I also decided that I never want to take another test again- ever. But since I am already back in school, that will be a short-lived dream. Thanks for all your support guys!
