NCLEX Prep

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum but have always been an active observer :)

I have my NCLEX scheduled for the end of this month (AH!) and was just wondering for this NCLEX 2015, what have you guys used to help you succeed? I have been a mess studying for this exam, having recurrent nightmares about test day! :(

So far this is what I have:

Kaplan Qbank (just the qbank no course): been scoring 68%-80s.

UWorld 60's

La Charity:

Pain 72.4 %

Cancer 75%

Immuno 80%

Fluids 78.2%

Safety/Infection 71.4%

Resp 76.6%

Cardio 78.1%

Hematological 95.8%

Neuro 85%

Visual 71.4%

Hurst (did bad :()

First 74/125

Second 74/125

Third 77/125

Fourth 76/125

Fifth 75/125

Any recommendations as to good sources for NCLEX practice?

My opinion is that studying for the NCLEX is almost impossible, there is too many disease processes, etc. I found all my NCLEX practice questions unlike the real test. I did study up on areas that I felt particularly weak in and kept in mind Maslows and the old ABCs, but otherwise I trusted my gut alot. I passed my PN and RN NCLEX on the first try. I tried to weed out the obviously wrong answers, but they are few and far between and very few answer choices were black or white.

I recommend understanding your Anatomy and Physiology and Medical/Surgical processes so that you can reason out correct answers. For example the test may ask you about a certain disease process that you know little about. BUT if you know the body system involved and how it works, you can make better rational assumptions on the treatment, course, and symptoms.
