Nclex Pn

I have been in the military trained Practical nurse course and will soon be taking the NCLEX PN. I am completely nervous about it, and would appreciate ANY suggestions of good study habits.:monkeydance:

I took mine in Feb. & I passed. I made sure I studied out the 3 different NCLEX books. There's really not a certain way to study for it, just have to know your systems & your drugs, the most common ones used. If you have a group thats cool too so ya can discuss the answers to some questions..

Good Luck to you!!

Oh yeah the night before I didn't study at all, I went & got a massage & manicure, pedi, just relaxed. Get a good nite sleep before going!!

I just took the pn in California on the 31st of May. Study your butt off. I used the Saunders and I also took a 3 day course as well as ERI. All to find out that when I got in there, there were things I had never seen before to my complete surprise. However, because I had enough knowledge and was taught how to rule out answers by at least 50%, I think it might have gotten me through. Almost everyone leaves thinking they've failed, so don't let it throw you. Answer the very best you can. Take your time. Mine stopped at 85, and it took me 2 hours. I don't have my results back yet (because it's scandalous California).

I'm going to take my nclex pn on the 25 of this month and I am so affraid.... I've been studying like crazy but all my friends who've taken the exam say it's nothing like they studied.... So what's a nursing student to do....? I'm still using my Saunders book/cd rom, along with my nclex pn flashcards, but is there anyone who can suggest any other tools that may help...?:balloons:

Get Saunders and Kaplan and do at least 100 questions per day.
