Nclex in Illinois after 3 years

I've been out of school for 4 years now, and graduated from Illinois. What are my options for re-taking the NCLEX? According to Illinois, I have to re-attend nursing school after 3 years passed, but some have said you can take a refresher course or apply to New York. Anyone have any ideas?

    While you may be able to get licensed in another state, that doesn't mean that IL will allow you to endorse your license. I would go by the official state policy rather than hearsay from others.
