I graduated nursing school in 2009 and took the NCLEX several times and did not pass. I somewhat gave up but still really wish I could pass the test and work as a nurse especially after spending all of that precious time in school and paid all that money. Currently I am a Nursing tech, and am around my nursing friends all of the time. It makes me frustrated with myself that I am not on their level yet! I wanted to know if anyone has any good suggestions on what I should use to study and how I should start this process again? I have done Kaplan 2 times and was unsuccessful. I am working on the Judy Miller study review but it is a little out of date and I do not know what is new since then. Any advice on how I should go about studying and what I should use would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

Will your state allow you to retake the NCLEX after this amount of time?
There is no time limit as far as I can tell...and you cannot retake nursing school. I have heard of people going 10 years between school and taking the exam. I would be taking it in va though.

Moved to the NCLEX forum
Plenty of threads in this forum offering advice. I would also suggest checking in with the state you plan on applying to and check that they do not require any form of refresher before allowing you to take NCLEX
