my NCLEX experience

Everytime I see people who just passed NCLEX, i can't help myself but to be jealous. So, when I got my eligibility, I enrolled to a review class and did the review for one month. I did study very hard but didnt pay attention to practice questions, It was clearly all about the contents and just all about the review. From that time, I was pushing myself so hard to pass the NCLEX right away like to the point of scheduling an exam 30 miles from our place coz there was no vacant schedule in our near area (that's how eager I was to take it) So, the day came, I was so nervous back then, I took it and stopped at no. 75. After the test, I already know to myself that I didnt make it because clearly I wasnt sure about my answers and the questions was really hard. I tried the pearsonvue trick and from there I knew that I didnt pass besides the letter that was sent to me 2 wks after the exam.

Yes, I failed the 1st time but as what they say, Failure would just be a FAILURE if you give up. So, I didnt give up. I practiced a lot of sample questions and analyzed myself. I found out that I'm getting a right answer if I read it very carefully and read it a couple of times. From the practice questions that I was taking, it gives you your strength and weakness's topics. So, If I didnt do good for example on Reduction of risk potential, what I did was took the questions under that for a day and see to it that I will get higher grades than usual.

After 3 months, I took my NCLEX, January 13,2011. I got a lot of SATA's (15-20q), prioritization (10-15q), infection control, meds and no computation. It stopped at 75. And after taking it, It was completely different from what I felt the first time I took it. I went home and tried the pearsonvue trick again and I got the pop up. I was so happy when I saw it. But I tell to myself not to be so sure about that although they told be that pvt is 99%accurate. Right now, I'm still waiting for the official result.I'm still nervous about it and the waiting is killing me. I hope you'll all pray for me. I'm wishing and hoping that I'll make it this time. God Bless!
