nclex exam

FAILED 2x, I am totally drained from the mental aspect. I cried both times and I am going to still keep pushing. However I am looking for a study group in the Phila., PA area. I found I do better with a group. Looking for a few individuals in the same position as I am and need feedback from one another as we study. I am looking for enthusiastic individuals who by all means want to pass and those who are serious about passing. I honestly don't have any money to pay for a tutor, so I am asking anyone in the area if they are willing to meet up? If you have a group already please inform me. [email protected] Thanks

    Hello I have been through what you have I took the nclex 3 times before passing . at this point wait on your results to come in the mail and see what you need to work on. Make sure when u are reviewing questions write down what you got wrong and also what you got right that u maybe guessed on. It would be good if you could take Kaplan it really helped me even with my anxiety .but if you can't do Kaplan try the Saunders book I never read the book cover to cover but they have online questions and just quiz over the analysis and application questions those are all the passing level questions. Best of luck to you I was not a fan of group study because you are on your own at the test but everyone learns in their own way .

    I highly recommend the Hurst Review. The video lectures are really comprehensive, entertaining, and concise. A great majority of the material that were in Hurst was even on my exam. The core content is maybe what you need to focus on to pass this exam. Take the 90 day online review. Make sure you watch every video and fill out all the work sheets. Study the worksheets until you MEMORIZE the material and can recite it without a doubt and hesitation. That means you tell someone the patho, signs and symptoms, labs, treatments, etc of a disease or condition.

    Thanks, my school did provide Kaplan and I never took advantage of it until now. The decision tree is helping me a lot. I just need to keep practicing and studying. Thanks for the response and CONGRATS!
