Hello all,
I am looking for the best online content review course. I need some content review. I completed my program through Excelsior College and it took me about 4 years with work, wife and kids. I feel I need a good review.
I know some of the courses concentrate on the question and less on the content. Do any focus on both?
I have tried to read Saunders review manual, but I find it dry and I am not retaining much of the information. I am hoping to find an online review with videos and sample questions structured to plan study. I feel I learn and retain more from lecture and video.
I think with a good online content review and the Saunders question CD I would be able to retain more information and pass the NCLEX!
Thanks,
Greg

I didn't really retain info from the Saunders comprehensive review book either. It was just so boring trying to read that book. I'm more of a sit in front of the computer and practice questions or interact with a video type of gal. Try the Hurst review. It's a 4 day (or however long it takes u to finish it) online review that consists of video lectures. The instructor, Marlene Hurst, had an excellent way of forcing me to retain some of the most basic nursing concepts. I even heard her voice in my head and asked myself "what would Marlene say?" while I was taking NCLEX. Passed on the first try. I think the review is like $300. Here's the website:
