You don't apply for the nclex you apply for a nursing license by examination. Are you an IEN? Then you submit an application for CVS to CGFNS and pay their fees. While waiting (at least. 6 month processing) you can take the required CEU for NY BoN (infection control, child abuse prevention etc there are links on NYBoN website for approved providers of the required courses)

Once cvs complete you apply to NYBoN for license by examination. Once approved by NYBoN you apply & pay Pearson Vue to schedule the NCLEX RN.
