NCLEX Application - reporting of traffic violations

Hello,

The application for NCLEX-PN says you do not have to report traffic violations under $300. Does anyone know if you have to report a traffic violation over $300 if you went to traffic school for it? Doesn't going to traffic school keep it off of your record?

Yes I had to report my traffic violations. This is because the ticket amount was just a few dollars over the requirement. I sent in proof the case was closed printed from the traffic court website. It only delayed my license by about 1 1/2 wks. Plus it made be unable to get an interim permit.

HTH!

Thanks. Sadly, I have three over $300. It was just happenstance, due to stressful events in my life late last year. I did traffic school for one and paid the other two. Do you know if having three could affect my ability to get licensed?

Correction: Turns out I have only one over $300. Thank goodness. Does anyone know if this can affect one's ability to get LVN licensed? Are they mainly just trying to find out if it's been paid?

If you're in CA, I am pretty sure, based on my friends experiences, that you can still get a license even though you have a few tickets.
