Anyone out there apply to MUW's ASN program? Any current attendees? My mom attended the W, but she graduated in `77 so I'm sure things have changed since then:D Any info would be appreciated!!

I was speaking to a student the other day that graduated from there and she said it was wonderful. She said the program was hard work but not too difficult and that the instructors were caring and helpful. I have called and spoke with a few myself and they seem very caring and welcoming
Thanks for replying! I was beginning to think no1 had anything good to say about the school Are you applying for the program too?
Yes I did for their ADN though not BSN. Also I applied at ICC and ASU. I saw that they decide after June so i am guessing letters come out at the end of June or first of July.
Yea that's the one I applied for too, but I'm having a problem finding my SAT scores & was wondering if I could fax them my unofficial scores since its gonna take a couple weeks for the official scores to be sent to the school. I e-mailed them and in the past I've gotten a quick response, but not this time Maybe I'll try calling them. Anyways, I wonder how competitive it is for the ADN program? This whole waiting thing is putting me on edge !
yes this waiting situation is normal for any school but mind boggling. I would just fax them anyways and leave a message about it if you can't get anyone. better in then not at all because if they aren't in then you can't be looked at unless you already have an ACT scores. I didn't know they took SAT scores I have never taken it how is it
I got a hold of them today. I faxed everything to them when I got home from work. They'll take the SAT & convert the score to ACT standards. I think the SAT is a lot different than the ACT because it really tests on writing, math & verbal. ACT tests on sciences, along with the other things that SAT tests on I believe.
did they say when letter would be mailed out?

from a former grad of that program good luck gettin in and getting a job when you get out. please consider the job outlook for rn's in the area for the next 5yrs before you drop a ton of cash and effort going through "the meat grinder" at muw. do yourself a big favor consult recent grads from any program about how well the job hunting is going.
The application packet said that letters would be mailed out prior to July 1. So I'm guessing we'll know in a few weeks.
