Multiple Interviews

This is a question for more seasoned healthcare workers.. When you have been priviledged enough to go on multiple interviews is there anything you can say to the employer when interviewiewing that you have had other job offers but are very interested in working for their company?

And what is the best way to ask for a extra time to consider when offered a job?

Also, I know it is a good idea to weigh the pros and cons but does anyone have any other advice for choosing a job as a nursing student?

I had the same issue. I only dealt with this once and I never thought I would negotiate the wage

I had an interview in the beginning of the week and another two days later. I actually knew what their numbers showed up as on my phone so I let it go to Voice Mail. If the manager sounded optimistic/cheery I call back and see what was up. I asked her if I could have some time to think about it, and she let me. Then after I was done with the second interview I had a pretty clear idea what I wanted and what the second employer offered so I had a better understanding what my choice was going to be. From there I made my choice. I called the manager from the first day and explained that I had another offer. We spoke back and fourth discussing wage and I ended up with the second employer.

Long story short, If offered...I would ask for a couple of days to think about it. You don't HAVE to tell the employer that you have another interview just yet...they usually have an idea thats whats going on when you ask to think about it.

Afterwards, then base your decision on what option benefits you

Yep - just keep it simple and ask for a few days before you commit to the position. To me, it comes across as insincere when people say that they are waiting on other offers but that they are very interested in working for our organization.
