how much studying?

i am registered for anatomy and physiology 1 for the fall of this year. that is the only class i am taking. can anyone (preferrably someone who did it this way) give me an idea of how many hours i can expect to study. will i work full time, part?? i'm trying to figure out a gameplan for my mortgage/living expenses. i don't want to borrow any more money, because i have loans from my bachelor's degree. any ideas or advice??

I am in A&P 1 now (almost done!) and it is a hard class that requires alot of studying. It depends on how quick you learn and how hard your teacher is. You would be better off asking someone at your school that has the teacher you will have.

I study about 10 hours a week for this class on average.

* Oh and I have a B in the class.

I believe that the general rule of thumb is to study 2 hours for every class hour you are registered for. So if the class is 4 credit hours, then at minimum you should study 8 hours a week. But like Studentnursecb said, a lot of it depends on what type of learner you are.

Hi,

I'm finishing up A&PI now. I probably study around 8-10 hours a week. I find it's better for me if I study a little each day instead of cramming before exams. I tend to remember the info more if it's an every day thing. Our averages were just posted last week and right now I have a low A. We started the class off with 20 students and only 6 or 7 are left in the class, the others dropped out. Our professor is hard and has an "It's not my fault if you're not passing, study harder" attitude about the course. I'm a full-time student plus I work about 25-30 hours each week. A&P is hard, but if you're committed to it you'll be fine. Mel
