Hi! Has anyone on here applied to Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia this application cycle? I submitted my application last week!

I didn’t get an interview when the first invites were sent out. 2 weeks later I got one. I guess they had some people decline interviews initially so they asked more applicants.

Ohh okay. Yeah the day I interviewed, they had cancellations as well.

Well I hope that we are just being super over-critical of ourselves and all get pleasant surprises in the next week or two. Hoping to get to meet you all.

I agree it was like I couldn’t even fully give an answer before the next question was fired and I was having to go to a whole different topic or add to something else. I also felt like I was so nervous I may not even have heard/answered correctly on what specifics they were looking for. I got a ton of IABP questions, impella, AS, and just a wide variety of everything. I think since I have been out of an ICU for 2 years and in Cath lab they really wanted to make sure I knew my stuff. My interview went to I think like 20 mins where the girl before me was in there like 10 mins and came out smiling. LOL I did not come out smiling more of like “what just happened” LOL

I also heard from a current student there was less applicants this year so hopefully that means all of us will get in!

I’m terrible with this site and don’t think it’s user friendly so I am sorry that I’m just posting and not replying to posts but from what I remember the interviewee was like “aortic stenosis, tell me about it” so I did and then questions just kept happening/ explanations and I was like I’m confused if you are asking me another question or if you are explaining this to me right now (in my head).

I got 2 emotional intelligence and 2 clinical and then I asked my 2.

Am I paranoid to think someone from the school has a profile and is watching what we say and going to see me say I got drilled LOL!

I felt okay about my interview surprisingly, however it was definitely intense with lots of clinical questions, and not many personal questions. Hopefully we’ll hear early next week, good luck everyone! ?

One of my co workers is applying somewhere and he interviews in September and doesn’t find out until January if he got in.  That sounds awful. All my dreams have been about the interview/interview prep, I hope we find out sooner rather then later!

Hahaha I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s been dreaming nonstop about it ??

Same here! I loved everything about the school, and everyone was so nice! I’ve been looking at my phone everyday in case I missed a call. Would they call us and send an  email?

Per their history, they typically call and then send an email right after!

Has anyone heard anything yet??

Not yet, I’m hoping today is the day! ??
