Hi! Has anyone on here applied to Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia this application cycle? I submitted my application last week!

Does anyone know when they should be letting us know? the wait is killing me!

I was told that we should find out the beginning of next week! I know; the wait is killing me too!! How did you feel after the interview??

Any one know if they’ll call us regardless? Even if we’re waitlisted?

I interviewed on 7/18, they said that the rest of this week and some/all of next week they analyze candidates and then people should be getting calls/e-mails in the next 2 weeks.  How do you guys feel you did?  I walked out of there feeling “if I get in I’ll be pleasantly surprised, if I don’t get in I wouldn’t be shocked.”  Safe space here, and wishing the best for everyone!

I felt like it wasn’t as bad as I thought it could have been, but it was so quick. I’m not sure what to think honestly or what they think about me after only 10 minutes. ?

Did anyone else just get absolutely drilled with clinical questions? I got zero emotional intelligence/personal questions. I was so nervous after leaving I’m not sure how I felt with my answers or what they thought of me. I agree I’ll be pleasantly shocked if I get in based on how I felt during my interview.

I would also be shocked if I got in after my interview! I was drilled with clinical questions and I don’t know if it was just me but they didn’t allow time for me to ask questions even though we were ahead of schedule ?

That’s weird bc I was told next week we should know! Based on their history, they’ve never had students wait two weeks to know if they’re in or not. That’s torture I feel like haha ???? I already can’t focus on anything not knowing, I can’t imagine a whole other week ?

My interview I feel went kinda fast but I think it was longer than 15 minutes. I got a mix of personal (specifically why CRNA/ why MTSA) and clinical questions, and got asked about my military experience. I felt good about the interview afterwards but the more I over analyze, the more I think I actually blew it. ? so, either way, if I don’t get in, I’ll be less stressed I think for next year. They were all so nice!!

I got drilled on Aortic Stenosis.  I also couldn’t tell if I was saying what they wanted me to say. Very stressful but it sounds like we all had a similar experience.  I got to ask 2 questions, 1) when will I be notified if I got in or not, 2) Who is everyone in the room and what do you like about MTSA?

Did they randomly bring up aortic stenosis?

I had 50% clinical and 50% EI. I got tripped up on one of the clinical questions, but EI I think went okay. I didn’t initially get an interview to begin with so I’m nervous and over analyzing every word that was said.

What do you mean, to begin with??

I didn’t get an interview when the first invites were sent out. 2 weeks later I got one. I guess they had some people decline interviews initially so they asked more applicants.
