Does anyone know why we need to complete this math packet before orientation? I know they are collecting it but for our knowledge or theirs?

Does anyone know if we need to get CPR certification before the start of class or we can get during the classes, my CPR certificate just expired this pass December.

And did any of you know anything regarding live scan and immune shots clearance? They didn’t mention any in the email, I wonder if they’ll be covering these topics during orientation tomorrow?

Hi Niiin, they will be going over that during orientation and will give us a deadline as to when it needs to be completed ?

I am pretty sure CPR will need to be done before official classes start in February but tomorrow they’ll give us info as to when it needs to be completed/deadline.

I heard from someone who just finished the program that we get a small quiz/test during orientation to make sure we practiced/reviewed the packet.

FYI registration dates are posted and available via portal.

How do they select candidates? Is it just by highest points?? Or lottery as well?

It’s by highest points. The cutoff is usually around 77/78. If you are in the 80s, then you are safe. But if there is a tie, then there is a random draw. I’m applying for Fall 2020, so hopefully I have more than 80 points

If there’s a tie then they decide who gets picked based on whomever has the highest HESI score
