MSN schools

Dear Nursing colleges,

I am contemplating going back to school for the FNP program and has narrowed my search down to Maryville University and Chamberlain University. Please share what you may know or your experiences with either schools with me to help me make a decision. Thank you. I am looking forward for your kind words of advice.

It seems like everyone on the NP preceptor Facebook page goes to those schools. Both don't really have high admissions standards. Personally I would expand my search when looking at programs. Remember you have to find your own preceptors.

I am half way through Chamberlains program. It is not easy and demands time. Almost all programs including Phhx. online and Grad Canyon require that you find your own preceptor. They do help you if you are having difficulties. I am impressed with the level of learning. I received my BSN from ASU which is a top program. I do not feel like I stepped down to do this program. I have a 4.5 GPA from both schools. What I don't like is that after you start a class they can move you to another class, same NR number just new instructor. They did it one time to me resulting in my having to resubmit work done the first week of class. I save everything so it was not to difficult but still....
