MSN programs

Not really sure where to post this since it's not for APRNs. My question is this: I'm interested in American Sentinel University's MSN program but they are not regionally accredited. Does anyone know if this really makes a difference for an MSN?

Thanks for your feedback!

Hey [COLOR=#003366]mtsteelhorse

I saw in your previous post that you were going to be attending Drexel's PMHNP program....mind telling me why you didn't? I am currently in the program but wondering about switching specialities. Sorry if this is nosy...I don't know anything about American Sentinel....

I've decided not to pursue NP school. It's just not feeling like the right path for me. I've been accepted to a couple of PMHNP programs and was convinced that was my direction. Drexel, SLU and some others have great reputations...just not my calling. Good luck to you!

I answered that in the other thread where you asked the same thing: https://allnurses.com/nursing-online-distance/american-sentenial-university-821300.html#post7232439. The bottom line is that regional accreditation is important if you plan to continue your education any further.
