MSMC ADN Fall 2010

I'm writing this as I wait for my interviewer lol

Anyway, they called me for the interview late last week. I wanna say wednesday or thursday. I know they're still calling people for interviews cuz when I walked in, the lady was on the phone scheduling someone for June 1st. so update me if u guys get interviews!! *nervous*

No, I was going to and I was all exited to but the dorms are only for traditional students ??? Something about the program being afternoon/evening/weekend makes ADN people ineligible for dorms. Luckily, my dad lives down there in Chino. Not very close but at least I'll have somewhere to stay rent free while I go to school. But, I'll be moving away from my boyfriend Where are you at? Where is everyone else at?

@vlove: how was the interview? what questions did they ask you? i dont thnk im gonna get interviewed since i got my acceptance but to the prenursing option :/ i called them and the lady said its cuz i dont have my religion class yet? and i thought we didnt need it yet. btw, when i looked at the past posts, it seemed u already got accepted last spring 2010?

@nakgirl: oh that sucks is ur boyfriend settled and everything in norcal? im in san fernando valley from now on.

@futurenicu: hey! The interview went well. It was all easy questions. First you gotta tell them about yourself.. Then ur work experience.. Why you want to be a nurse right now.. That kinda stuff.

I was accepted in spring10 for pre-nursing so I still have to do the interview. I'm registered for the ADN classes already though so its all a little backwards.. If that makes sense. :/

soo that means ill be in the same situation as u for spring 2011 right? what classes did u take for ur first semester? oh man i just realized so that means even if i go as prenursing, its not guaranteed that we have a spot in the nursing program?since u still have to interviews and stuff?

Basically, it says if you have taken these classes, then you would be considered a direct to nursing program.

And then, if you look at slide 12 on the power point presentation found on this link:

Table of Nursing Programs - Mount St. Mary's College, Los Angeles

It says RST 41 (religious studies) is just required for GE requirements, recommended prior to nursing program and no later than the first academic year in the nursing program.

I think they say/do this b/c a lot of other college's religious studies classes don't matriculate over to what they need.

did anyone get an interview for the direct entry to the nursing program? my bf got an interview invitation for this tuesday and we were wondering what kinda questions they ask.
