Moving to Texas

Hey everyone. I am going to be moving to the Euless/Arlington area of Texas soon from Arizona. I am doing pre-reqs right now in AZ to become a nurse. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good schools in the Arlington area where I could get my nursing degree? I would rather do an ADN instead of a BSN because it is cheaper but I am open to anything. Which schools do you guys suggest? Are there community colleges out in that area?

I won't be moving out there until May (so I can finish up this next semester here in AZ) but I want to start researching now to find out if I need additional pre-reqs, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Brittany

Tarrant County College has an ADN, UT Arlington has a BSN. Both are close to the Euless area. There is also TCU for a BSN, although it is a private school and more costly, it is a great education and experience, IMO (but I am biased ;) )

Here are all the ADN programs that I can think of that are within commuting distance of Euless and Arlington:

1. Tarrant County College - Fort Worth

2. Hill College - Cleburne

3. El Centro College - Dallas

4. Brookhaven College - Farmers Branch

5. Weatherford College - Weatherford

6. Trinity Valley Community College - Kaufman

7. Collin County College

8. North Central Texas College - Gainesville

9. Navarro College
