Depends on which hospital you go to, but you can almost quote what you would like and see where it goes. I know at the hospital I work for we need an ICU nurse really bad. We have been remodeling and besides it being an older facility, it is a nice place to work. The nurses coming on board make more than the nurses that have been with the facility for several years. But I know thats how they get people to come in. Pay ranges from 22/hr and up. And since u work ICU the pay is higher.

San Antonio is a beautiful city. I have grown up here and again work at a large HCA hospital. I have been with them for 19 months and have been really happy. I think they are great to work for. The benifits are good and I feel they take good care of their nurses. I make $20.00/hr day shift for pediatric telephone triage. There is several Methodist Hospitals that are expanding now and will be hiring new nurses. I think there are plenty of opportunities here for you here if you choose that. It is a good temp year round pretty much. I love this city. I live on the outskirts and travel 32 miles to work but it is well worth it. Good luck in whatever you choose!!

hey it's such a bargain of homes in texas, geesh here in san diego,ca for a 3 bedroom house it cost $1600 a month! and that's even in the low income part of town,i saw on the internet real estate sites texas has some nice homes, shoot i'm paying

not sure about all that work stuff BUT my cousin lives in New Braunfels (30 miles away) and in the summer it is awesome. Nothin' better on a hot summer day than floating down the Comal river in a toob with a cold beer in your hand. Damn, I wish it was summer...
