Moving to Nevada from CA

I currently work for the LA COUNTY and planning to move to nevada and work for UMC a clark county hospital. Does anyone know how county to county benefits work? Do i continue my years of service or do i start from zero again?? Thank you.

    You could call Human Resources in clark county and ask them if they'd honor any previous service years/experience that you have. UMC provides their employees with a 29% pension for life I believe. (may be mistaken)
