Specializes in Medical Progressive Care.

Hi, I'm a 23 year old nurse who just graduated from a ADN RN program in michigan. I am looking to move to either Texas or Arizona. I am on a 2 week vacation; 1 week in each state. so far, I have my Arizona interviews in Phoenix and Tucson. In Phoenix, I had interviews at Maryvalle, Phoenix Baptist, Banner Good Sammaritan of which I turned down the Phoenix Baptist position. In Tucson, I had interviews at Northwestern Medical Center and the University Medical Center. I think I have limited it down to Banner good Samaritan Cardiac step-down days or Northwestern medical center new grad cardiac ICU. Any thoughts?

I think you will really like the orientation, critical care class and mentoring program at NWH in Tucson.

thanks....It does sound like a good opportunity. They are paying well and they offer a $12,000 relocation assistance for 2 years. My only concern is their critical care classes along with my BSN completion program that I will begin in August...all online thru Michigan State University. What do you think? Also, I remember seeing a post earlier about a website like thegap something....I am trying to look for apartments around the area while I'm here in case I for sure decide to move here. Any thoughts? Thanks:)

I sent you a private message! Welcome to AZ!
