katy is wondeful place to stay. houston is very close to katy and many people who live in katy work in houston. i live in houston but commute to katy often 'cos i got family over there. try finding work in katy 'cos the traffic is horrible to and from houston. lvns working in ltc make about $18/hr. lvns at my current hospital make even less! i don't know if experience counts as far as pay rate for lvn is concerned. i know this is nothing compared to waht you make in ca but the std of living here is less. i know your home too is quite less than what you would get in ca.
resident load ranges from 23-34. when i worked in houston, i had 36/37 on 3-11p.
btw pay rates and resident load in katy are similar to houston's.
Thanks For The Info Hopefully I Wont Have To Wait To Lonb For Job Offers.
