Hey Everyone,
I am a three year RN and am wanting to get into a trauma ICU or cardiac ICU if I could. My first 6 months experience was on a 32 bed telemetry unit and then after that I've worked for a tiny 25 bed critical access hospital for the last 2+ years in the what they call an ICU. I also float to OB and have experience with laboring patients and newborn care as well. I have certifications in ACLS, PALS, STABLE, FHM, NRP and TNCC. Any thoughts on whether or not it would be difficult for me to land a job? I'm also just a few classes away from my BSN and have the CCRN study book with intentions to get this when I have enough true ICU time. Thanks!!
I posted this on a reply to DavidERER, but figured I would throw it out here for suggestions as well. Thanks again!

So what happened ... did you get a job?
Hi tyvin,
I haven't applied for anywhere yet. Getting my son going with his ABA therapy has taken a lot more of my time than I thought it would. Maybe come September I will start putting applications in. I would like to go back sooner but not possible at this time unfortunately . I will post on here as soon as I get a bite for a job though!!
Hopefully you've found good resources for your son. Welcome ... if you have any questions or need some info on what's really going on over here let me know.
Thank you for the welcome!! We are new to this whole process for finding therapies but i think we are off to a good start, i just hope it stays that way! I'm going to send in the application for my license this week. Do you have suggestions of where to start when I do receive the license? Does it take a while for that to go through? It seems as if it's difficult to get an offer out here which I'm nervous about.
