Moving to DC area... where to work?

Hello everyone! I'm a recent grad from the Univ. of Arizona (with an RN BSN) in good ole Tucson!! Now I'm just trying to figure out where to work. I'm moving to the DC area with my husband (he got a job in northern VA) and I don't know anything about the hospitals... I love working with kids and would love a job in pediatrics... anyone know a good place to work??? Thanks! :)

Oh, also.... lookin for a place to live too, anyone know of some good apartments I can rent for like 6-12 months while we look for a house? We're thinking maybe herndon/reston... my husband is an avid cyclist and needs bike trails to survive so we want to be close to the W&OD trail. Thanks again!!!
