Mount Carmel SDAP Spring 2016

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

My plans to attend BW fell through so I wanted to see if anyone could provide me with info about Mount Carmel College of Nursing's Second Degree Accelerated Nursing Program (SDAP). I was recently placed on the wait list for their program and I want to know if I have any chances of getting of the wait list.

Please let me know your thoughts as it seems like the Ohio forum is dead but I'd really like to get a conversation going and hear about others that were accepted or wait listed.

Hi,

I am also wait listed for the SDAP program. I was told by the school they typically place 20-25 applicants from the wait list into the program, although the actual number depends entirely on how many accepted students don't end up enrolling. Sometimes wait listers don't find out they are in until a week before classes start. What number are you on the wait list? They will go in order, starting with 1. It's a great program, so I'm really hoping to make it off the list. Good luck!

I will be applying to the MCCN SDAP for the Spring 2017 cohort. I am currently taking the prerequisites at Columbus State. Can I ask what your credentials are (GPA, experience, etc.) and when you applied to the program? As I am at the beginning of this process, I know very little about Mount Carmel's applicant pool and selection process. Any information you could give me would be great. Good luck with your application!

Curious about the selection process as well.

I was #8 on wait list. Got accepted in November. Classes started in Jan.

Why not look at other accelerated programs in the Cleveland area?
