Tweety have a nice trip

Dianah glad the computer was backed up despite the technical issues

Hope Stars is able to get back into the site, it's been so long

Was not feeling well yesterday morning, having GI issues and fatigue, so decided to cancel plans with J and for church. It worked out, J texted to cancel with me as he was having plumbing issues, and church was able to find a replacement for me as assisting minister. Stayed home and rested, GI issues settled down. Was going to try bird watching in the afternoon but was still too fatigued, so stayed home and rested some more. By the evening I felt good enough to exercise. Also got the PayPal issued settled with with the stuff I tried to sell, which was a relief. Not doing that again

Today should be a pretty ordinary day at work, no one off and no meetings that I know of and no need to work on the side project. Just need to finish up that new case. After work nothing out of the ordinary except exercise

Will be warmer today, upper 70s, with rain expected this evening

Ah ha, I see that Stars posted on a previous date's entry. Hopefully, she can find her way to the daily thread.

It's been quite warm here, mid 70s. I've been working intermittently in my garden, sort of following the shade around. I am slowly removing weeds and replacing them with annual flowers. dh tilled the vegetable garden space, so he will soon be planting tomatoes and dahlias. We have some lettuce ready to eat.

I spent some time on the gardening newsletter that I create each month. I need to invite dd over so she can show how to use a different program so I am not constantly fussing with the Apple program.

It rained a touch on Saturday and seemingly washed a lot of pollen out of the air, but its back with a vengeance . My eyes just feel gummy and itchy. Youngest ds is having trouble with clogged ears and was wheezing yesterday.

Tomorrow we are meeting with M-I-L and someone from palliative care. I know M-I-L will be very resistant to any medications. She seems to think someone is going to come and visit her on a regular basis, but I'm not sure that's true. She lives with her daughter, grandkids come to visit almost daily, and she talks to friends on the phone. I'm not sure what she wants from the palliative care people, but it doesn't hurt to listen.

May the 4th be with you!

May the Fourth be with you all!

Joe, I hope you got over your GI issue, and are feeling better.

nursej22, I hope you can find a program that is easier to use, for the gardening newsletter. It IS nice to have one that is intuitive (read: easy to use!). I hope your meeting with M-I-L tomorrow is productive, promoting realistic expectations.

Got a new mouse, it was delivered this morning. Dh set it up, and it works SO WELL! It's nice to finally be able to use the roller in the middle!

It is blustery out, with rain predicted around 11pm, but it doesn't sound like the squall will last long. The clouds sure look ominous.

I have some laundry going. Not much else going on.

Have a good evening!

I am scrolling back through some of the days I was out of commission, and ran across this post from dianah about her getting a new mouse for her computer. On my laptop I just have the finger-pad on the bottom. I tried using a mouse once and was, like, so very uncoordinated, missed everything, every time. I was quite disgusted! I was glad not to have to use one with this laptop.

I have to tell you something funny....it may be TMI, but we are 'all nurses' here, so I'm going to tell you anyway.

When I was younger and still had my, ahem, menses, and used tampons......one time , for some reason I forgot to flush the toilet. Later I heard hubby call out to me by my first and middle name. I yelled back, "Whaaatizzit?" He hollered back to me, "A mouse fell in the toilet and got a bloody nose!" 😂

It was very funny at the time, and it still is amusing, but he made me laugh out loud when he yelled that to me! 🤣

That's all: I just HAD TO leave that anecdote after I read dianah's post! 😉
