Tweety glad the work day wasn't too bad

NJ22 does sound like a nice day

NRSKaren love those pieces

Had a quieter morning yesterday, decided to leave the cooking until the afternoon and had a quiet morning. Went to church early to usher. Came home and did the cooking for the week. Took a long bike ride afterwards, was a bit cool and windy but not too bad

Today should be an ordinary day. Hopefully no work built up from being off on Friday. Will have to spend time on the side project. Nothing after work except exercise

Will get up to the low 70s, rain and storms expected but nothing too bad

Good morning!

Hope you have a good day Joe.

Karen, those are really good pieced of art work!

We're still having lovely weather but are in an "extreme" drought and need rain. These are our drier months however. There's 50% chance of rain this evening.

I'm off today and the work on my spare room resumes. The deadline for them to finish is in two weeks. Going to the gym and Waffles has a check up with the doggie ophthalmologist. Last appointment was three months ago, and I hope she increases the frequency because it's usually up to $200 a visit. But it's better than when I went every two weeks when her eye was really infected.

I also need to order my meds. The doc only prescribed four Vitamin D pills and I'll take the 4th one today. Wonder why she prescribed so little. A coworker said her doctor only started her on four as well. Weird. The steroids are running low but they may not let me renew. Last time they said it was too early and then the next day said "it's time to renew". Annoying.

Anyway.........

Hope the workday wasn't made too busy by your day off, Joe.

Tweety, my doctor gave me 3 months of weekly vitamin D supplements. At the end of those 3 months I'm supposed to have labs drawn again. And that is coming up in about a month.

We were too slow to watch live yesterday when stepson was baptized. We watched afterwards.

I was able to get the Vit D renewed for four more doses and the steroids as well. I wanted to get my sleeping pill renewed but it was still "in progress" and I didn't press the issue and will pick it up when I work next.

I stopped by a computer on the floor to do a lesson that was due today about our new time clocks.

I was off a week when I looked at my calendar and in my head. I was a week behind and am a little amazed it's the 27th already. LOL. Anyway, Waffles appointment was not today, I was looking at her checked up last week. Her eye appointment is next month. Good thing I looked again. I was thinking "they didn't give my the usual reminder text".

Also this means my reno project needs to be done in a week and the contractor says he will be done Thursday or Friday at the latest. He said there will be some "extras" in the final payment due to the door frames being rotted out by water damage. It is what it is.
