Mississippi

I was wondering if there is anyone here from Mississippi who is in the Excelsior program?

I just received a package from Excelsior and was happy to learn they have a small discount for Military veterans and dependents as well as active duty. I'm both a dependent and veteran. I also recently discovered that my sister in-law completed this program 13 years ago when it was Regents. She lives in New Hampshire and works for an Oncology clinic.

I e-mailed the Mississippi BON to make sure they would accept this program for licensure and they do. I just graduated from LPN school and work full time for a local hospital in Gulfport.

I would love to chat or receive pm's from anyone who needs encouragement because I know i'm going to need it. :-) Have a great day.

i did my lpn to rn via distance learning but it was a local college. i enjoyed the freedom of the distance aspect. i could continue to work and do my assignments in my own time and from home on the computer. does excelsior do computer assignments now days or do you recieve correspondence and do things via snail mail?
