Microbio lab report

Does anyone know where I can find a layout for a microbiology lab report. It needs to be APA (?) format. I have my unknown project due Dec. 5th. She didn't provide a layout for what a lab report looks like. Anyone done this before? Thanks for your help.

Do you know if you are actually writing a report?

We had to keep a daily diary on what tests we completed, and had to document in which book, page, etc that we found the test directions and results (documenting quotes, summaries, etc)

From GOOGLE:

"APA Style Essentials is a guide for writing in psychology and related disciplines."

Yes I am writing the the entire lab report. I have my log of tests performed and the results. I also have a flow chart showing the steps that led me to my "answer". I am having a problem with the text section. Am I allowed to use the words "I, me, etc" or do I refer to myself as something else? I am going to try to avoid that period. It's hard trying to put this info into my own words. :uhoh3: I get the feeling she wants it to sound like a professional lab report and I just don't feel like I know how to do that. GRRRR! This sucks. I am usually so good at writing papers!

And her rubric sucks. It's so vague! What's the point of a vague rubric!?! It says to contain all components of a lab report. Well, I have never seen one of these!!!

Thanks for your help!

I'd ask your instructor if it should be in 1st or 3rd person, and ask if there are any examples to look at from previous semesters.

...Never hurts to ask. :)

Good luck on your report!
