Micro Rant!!

Can I just say I hate microbiology with a deep undying passion? I loved A&P I, and am loving II this semester but I hate micro. I hate Gram stains, I hate procaryotic cells....I hate viruses. I don't understand anything in the class. I can not tell the difference in Gram - or Gram +, I can't tell bacilli or cocci and I have a teacher who will only laugh and not help!! How can I learn with no help???? And can I just say, when will I ever need to identify the cell morphology of a Klebsiell pneumoniae in nursing? EVER?

Ok, I'm done. By the way I have a test Tuesday...in Micro! UGH.

Ok, really done. Rant over.

To cat: I realize I'll need to know bugs and whatnot...I was just in a crazed rant. Forgive me as I reread what I wrote. I must have sounded nuts. LOL And I'm there with ya...AP2 and Micro--at the same time. UGH. Are we crazy or what? Do we need that kind of torture? LOL

Finished my AP2 test, and dissected a fetal pig today...which I found painfully sad. It was so cute. Now I'm home to study Micro. And yes it helps to read, read, then read some more. Next week is Spring Break for me so I plan to not break and play catch up and read read...and read some more. :D

It's gotta get better right??
