Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

Hey all,

I will be relocating to NC in 2015 and wondering what bridge programs for LPN to RN the have to offer. HELP:snurse:

Hi Nursewriter,

Do you mind me asking what LPN school you went to and was it hard for you to find employment once you got licensed.

thanks

Hey Bronze,

im from MI and I went to a school called Dorsey Business school... No!!! I wasn't hard I found employment right away... I'm relocating next year and that's what I'm afraid of:cautious: I hope it's easy to find jobs there as well!.

Where are you from? And is 922 your bday?

Yeap its Sirena922, and September 22 is my bday! I'll be starting Everest in October and I can not wait then I can relocate too. I have a good friend that just moved to Charlotte, NC last month, and although she isn't a nurse, she got 2 job offers the first week she was there. Had been out of work the last 2 years here in Detroit and could not find a decent job! So NC might be the place to go! Have you been researching different facilities in NC before you relocate? And if you don't mind me asking, do you work for a nursing home here in Michigan?

Wow, my bday is Sept 22 as well that's crazy......

well yea my sister graduated from Everest for Nursing and I have a friend starting there as well ! I found a job quick and yes I work in a Nursing home/ rehab facility hospital don't pay LPNs good. I'm really leaning towards Charlotte... My son graduates 2015 then I'm outta here, so over MI

Lol we have a lot in common! I'm soo over Michigan but I work full time for DPS but I'm sooo tired of all the pay cuts & layoffs! I was looking to move to Texas in the near future.

If your looking towards charlotte you shouldn't have any problems finding work at all.

O did your sister graduate Everest & get licensed?
