i had a question that was like ml to L.....
kilo to lbs ........
google "metric mania" they have a really neat worksheet on there that helped me learn the metric system .
if your moving to a larger unit u move the decimal left ... in my head i jus thought "larger left"........and if your going to a smaller unit you move the decimal right .
the mcgraw hill book does a fairly good job at explaning the metric system .i of all people had the hardest time learning it!! but its deffinitly worth focusing your attention on since you will see quite a few conversions on the test .
Thanks for all the info.. I really like the worksheet of metric mania. I think thanks to that i finally understand what im doing! YAY!

Hey guys! I haven't taken the TEAS exam yet, but I am in a few weeks!!! On the subject of metric conversions I had a question for those of you who has taken the test already. On p.63 and 64 in the ATI Study Guide were there any questions on cups, pints, quarts, gallons, teaspoon, tablespoons on the exam? Also do you know of any good websites for those conversions I listed?
Thanks!
I have been studying on how to for example take 250mg and convert it to grams... i know how to convert any metric measure to another metric measure. I also know how to go from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and kilograms to pounds. Is that all i need to know for the conversions or is there more i should be studying.
did you look over the metric mania worksheet?? when i took the TEAS i had maybe 2 questions that asked to covert from one unit to another...example like "how many milligrams are in 3 grams?".......i remmeber one that was kilo to pounds ....you will deffinitly see Celcuis to farenheit or viseversa . sounds like your doing pretty good !! i went through the same drama with learning the metric system ... just beware of where you moving that decimal !!
Ok i think im good on converting from one unit to another. I did the whole metric mania worksheet! I was wondering could you show the formula for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa just to make sure i have it right. Thanks :)
