Hi all....
I'm here wondering if anyone could answer a question for me. I am VERY interested in NICU and will be moving to Memphis after graduation in May of 2008. For a long while I thought one would have to be pretty experienced before being hired in NICU, but I recently heard that a lot of hospitals like to hire new grads and put them through internships with a preceptor for that area. I was curious if anyone knew LeBonheur's (where I would really like to work) take on that or the Baptist Women's Hospital?? I know LeBonheur does 16/20 wk internships for new grads, but I didn't know if I would have any luck there.
Anyone know anything about that?? Thanks in advance!

The MED I hear is wondeful for hiring new grads for the NICU. I live in Illinois but I am from Memphis. A friend of mine was recently telling me about someone who is a new grad and she loves her job. Try there and see how it goes...k.
Thank you! :)
