Membranes

curious?? hey all..i was thinking, if my pt has a rim around her cervix, lets say on the right..would you have her labor down on her LEFT side or RIGHT? I can never remember that one!! thanks

On the right side.

We also put them on the side where the cervix still is, but WAY over on their side, with their top knee over their bottom knee with a pillow in between for support. I've seen it work many times!

I would keep the patient moving, never putting her on one side of the other too long. That said, Madge's idea is something that works, also.
