Medtexx

Hello everyone,

I've just moved to Florida, and have heard Medtexx provides IV Therapy workshops and certification. Has anyone out there heard of them? Are they good? I'm thinking about taking the course, but it's $450 and I'll like to get some info. other than what they provide on their web site.

Thanks

Hi, there!

I know they can be pricey, but while I was in LPN school a couple of years ago I decided to take their phlebotomy workshop (being able to make some $$ on the side is always a good thing :) ).

I can tell you it was well worth the money I paid for it. The instructor was very well prepared, they used a decent number of manikins and equipment, not cramming a bunch of people around 1 single fake-arm...

If you have the money, I'd say go for it!

All the best!

My brother also took their phlebotomy course back in October in Cleveland, OH and he loved it. He has been working as a phlebotomist since.

Hope this helps.
