I was wondering what others thought of MedSpas...I am an RN in Texas...I would love to work in aesthetics/plastic surgery area. I have an interview next week at a MedSpa where RNs do injections and laser hair removal. I was more looking for a plastic surg. office but what do you all think of MedSpas?

Since this is such a new concept, I'm not entirely familiar with what all is going in under the label of "Med Spa" these days. Is it only esthetic-type stuff?
As a consumer, I absolutely love the more spa-like atmosphere for outpt services. Just recently had a mammo & followup & actually enjoyed the experience... Spa robes (warmed, of course), free fancy coffee machine & yummy snacks in the waiting area, soothing fountain, current magazines, comfy couches, hostess on duty to see to my every need.... ahhhhh. The only problem? They were so efficient with the scheduling that I didn't have long enough time to enjoy the atmosphere.
