I know this may be an easy task for many, but I am trying to figure out why I can't draw medication out of a ampule. I stick it in and the plunger never moves back, it just stays there. I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Does anyone have any tips?

An ampule doesn't have pressure in it to cause the plunger to move back. You have to manually pull back the plunger to withdraw medication from an ampule.

correct, it's also the same with a vial if you don't draw up the air for your dose, then there is very little pressure to pull back with...often the med goes right back into the vial.
oh ok thanks you two
