Hello!
I see that this board is not very busy, but I’m hoping someone can help me. Is anyone currently working at Medcor on the triage line? How do you like it? What are the shifts like, as in are they 8 hours? How do they run, 11-7, 7-3, etc? Is it still true that things are overly micromanaged?

Hello. I don’t work for Medcor. However I can tell you most telephone triage jobs are micromanaged because the calls are usually recorded. Nurses are evaluated frequently.
@ILoveHorsesRNThank you for your reply! I’ve done a lot of research on these positions and everyone is saying the same thing about micromanagement. That part will be very different from bedside nursing, but hopefully manageable. Thanks again. ?
