MDS training?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone new of any training classes for MDS in the New England area. I am working part-time in a Long Term care facility and I am very interested in learning more. My management is very well willing to train, but I would like to find out more on my own. Any help would be great!

MDS.

I have been a LPN for 2 years and I started doing MDS in June.. It hasn't been easy, but still learning.. But now I am the MDS/Casemix Director. I really like my job. ;)

Wow, there seems to be a lot of different ways to get into it. It is nice to know that there are so may options out there

there are.. and lots of classes..for rn's there is chance of moving up to supervisory positions as well which is nice.. it is a great job with flexible hours and scheduling as well.. hope you are all enjoying it..

you should contact your local social services office--they are normally the one who hosts the training sessions.
