MDR Number

I am from India.Got my RN Licence from Newyork state.My visa got aproval on 11 sept 2006.but still now i didnt get my MDR Number.Mailed several times to NVC,They are ignoring my case.Since the last 02 years i am waiting for MDR Number.If any body have idea to solve my case.please help.

Not sure why NVC are ignoring your case as I have always found them helpful in answering any questions I have. Even with approval you are still affected by retrogression and currently visa processing for India is July 2001 so you have several years waiting in front of you

You can contact them by phone but it is an automated system and you need either NVC number or receipt of I140 number. But as I said you are affected by retrogression and have a long wait in front of you. If you send an email with your receipt number for I140 they will send you a reply with your NVC number.

I am an Indian nurse.Got visa approval from USCIS on sept 11,2006.Still now i didnt get my MDR Number.When I enquired with NVC they have no documents regarding my visa approval.So i want to contact with USCIS to issue my approval letter.Any body knows how can I contact them.

What you have is the PD date, I suspect. That is the date that your documents for the I-140 were received by them. That was just before the retrogression started.

Has your attorney actually received the bill for the visa and paid it?

And have you completed the DS-230 and received approval on that?

If you only got approval and your I140 was 2006 then you have several years waiting as I mentioned processing times for India is 2001. To contact NVC you will need your receipt number from your I140 which if you haven't got a copy then you can get from your lawyer.
