MDF vs. Littman?

Published

I currently have an MDF acoustica stethoscope and I am not too sure about it. I was thinking about buying the Littman Classic II. I wanted to get some of your opinions before I dropped the money on a new stethoscope. What are you opinions? Should I switch to the Littman or is it not much better than an MDF?

Much appreciated!

I've never used a MDF stethoscope. I have a Littmann Cardiology iii and it is seriously the cats meow ;) It was just over $200 CAN, but so worth it! (Wayyyy better than the Littmann Classic, which is still a fine stethoscope BTW)

I googled mdf. Apparently they are not as good as littman!

Hi KColli45,

If you are looking to upgrade your Acoustica, we would recommend our stainless steel upgrade to the MD One or Titanium MD One. Our customers swear by the sound quality (4.5 stars with over 200 reviews on Amazon) and love the value of our lifetime warranties and Free-Parts-for-Life. Free-Parts-for-Life is a program where MDF customers can order free replacement parts for the life of their stethoscope (shipping is free too)! Please let me know if you should have any questions! You can reach me at [email protected] and I will respond as soon as possible!

Sincerely,

Lynn
